Hart left sweating over City place

• Manuel Pellegrini refuses to confirm if keeper is still No1

• England keeper may be dropped for Norwich City visit

Joe Hart faces an anxious wait to see if he is to be dropped when Manchester City host Norwich City with the manager, Manuel Pellegrini, refusing to confirm whether the goalkeeper will start.

Pellegrini said: "Tomorrow you will know the XI that starts. It's a decision I have to take every week."

The England No1 has been under intense pressure because of high-profile mistakes this season, the latest of which came in City's Premier League defeat to Chelsea at the weekend.

Costel Pantilimon, a cup regular, was selected for Wednesday's Capital One Cup victory at Newcastle and kept a clean sheet.

Regarding whether Hart would have been disappointed to be dropped for the midweek 2-0 win, the manager said: "You must ask Joe, I can't answer for him how disappointed. All of you saw what happened [against Chelsea]."
