Liverpool are expected to welcome striker Daniel Sturridge back into their squad this weekend, but seem to be preparing to part company with another striker very soon. With Sturridge available to manager Brendan Rodgers for the first time since August, the Reds will try to avoid another disappointing result against West Ham United on Saturday. Without their attacking spearhead Liverpool (10-5-7) have failed to live up to lofty expectations this season, and sit eighth in the Premier League - one point behind West Ham (10-6-6). The Reds were also dumped out of the League Cup on Tuesday, falling 1-0 at Chelsea in extra time after playing out a 1-1 draw at Anfield in the first leg a week earlier.
