Watford back in Premier League after 8-year absence

Watford sealed its return to the Premier League after an eight-year absence after winning on Saturday and seeing its promotion rivals stumble in England's second tier. With one game remaining, Watford cannot be denied a top-two finish in the League Championship. Watford beat Brighton 2-0 away to stay top of the league, and then saw third-place Middlesbrough lose and fourth-place Norwich draw. The team, managed by former Chelsea midfielder Slavisa Jokanovic of Serbia, hasn't played in the Premier League since 2006-07 - when it won just five games and finished in last place.
