Chelsea-Manchester City Preview

Premier League leaders Manchester City will face their biggest test of the season so far when they welcome Chelsea to the Etihad on Monday evening. Manuel Pellegrini's City (17-2-4) have won nine consecutive league games going into Monday's top-of-the-table clash, and a 5-1 hammering of Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday took their goal-scoring tally up to an astonishing 68 from 23 games. Their form at the Etihad is peerless, with City yet to drop a point in 11 home games, scoring 42 goals and conceding just eight. Their incredible current form led to Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood to describe them as the 'best team on the planet' after the midweek hammering at White Hart Lane, but Pellegrini is not getting carried away just yet.
