Adrian Chiles replaced as ITV Sport football presenter by Mark Pougatch

• Pougatch to present PSG v Chelsea on 17 February

• No comment on whether Chiles will stay with ITV

• Pougatch to continue with BBC Radio 5 Live

• Andy Townsend’s contract will not be renewed next season

BBC Radio 5 Live’s Mark Pougatch has joined ITV as its main lead football anchor with immediate effect, replacing Adrian Chiles in a sudden switch.

ITV has the rights to live Champions League football until the end of this season and also screens England’s home qualifiers and friendlies in a deal that runs until 2018.
